Home renovation facing the sea

Home renovation facing the sea

At Delta TM, renovation starts with the existing building: its layout, construction and energy performance.

This house, built in 1970, had a sloping tiled roof and enclosed porches with arches.

The house was in poor condition and the pool sat well below it. Sea views formed part of the site’s potential.

Delta TM connected two independent homes that previously had no internal link.

A ground-floor extension and a new internal connection separate the bedrooms upstairs from the living area, which opens to the pool.

Straight lines and white surfaces define the intervention. Colours and materials extend the interior towards the sea views.

Project decisions

A layout adapted to the new use.

Construction and energy solutions studied together.

A composition of clear lines.

Delta TM studies how to retain the strengths of a home while adapting it to its owners’ needs.
